📱 Information We Collect
Data Stored Locally on Your Device:
- Baby profiles (name, birth date)
- Feeding records (times, types, amounts)
- Sleep records (start/end times, duration)
- Diaper change records (times, types)
- Growth measurements (weight, height, head circumference)
- App preferences and settings
✅ All this data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
🚫 Information We Do NOT Collect

- Photos or media files
- Device identifiers for tracking
- Browsing history or app usage patterns
💳 In-App Purchases
BabyCare offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple's App Store. When you make a purchase:
- Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple
- We do not receive or store your payment information
- We only receive confirmation of your subscription status

🔔 Notifications
BabyCare can send local notifications to remind you about feeding times, diaper changes, and other activities.
- Notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device
- No notification data is sent to external servers
- You can disable notifications at any time in Settings

Your data security is our priority:
- All data is stored locally using secure device storage
- No data transmission to external servers
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
- No advertising networks integrated
📱 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
When you first open BabyCare on iOS, you may see Apple's "App Tracking Transparency" prompt asking about tracking permission.
Important: BabyCare does NOT track you, regardless of your choice.
Here's why you see this prompt:
- Our subscription payment provider (RevenueCat) includes Apple's tracking framework as part of their SDK
- Apple requires us to show this prompt when the framework is present in the app
- We use RevenueCat solely for processing in-app purchases and validating subscriptions
- We do NOT collect your advertising identifier (IDFA)
- We do NOT track you across apps or websites
Whether you tap "Allow" or "Ask App Not to Track," your experience with BabyCare remains exactly the same. Your privacy is fully protected either way.
👶 Children's Privacy
BabyCare is designed for parents and caregivers to track their baby's activities. The app:
- Does not collect personal information from children
- Stores baby information only locally on the parent's device
- Does not share any child-related data with third parties
🗑️ Data Deletion
You have complete control over your data:
- Delete individual records: Use the delete option in the History screen
- Delete baby profiles: Go to Settings > Manage Babies
- Delete all data: Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
⚠️ Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We do not have backups of your data since it's stored only on your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by:
- Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy
- Providing notice within the app for material changes
